This diorama depicts an Allied armor element paused during a resupply operation in Normandy. The scene centers around an M18 Hellcat, M4A3 Sherman, and M10 Tank Destroyer, supported by infantry and field equipment.

The composition was designed to communicate motion within stillness, vehicles positioned mid-preparation, crew engaged in coordinated tasks, and supply elements integrated naturally into the terrain.

Terrain work focused on layered elevation, realistic ground texture, and environmental blending. Static grass, earth tones, and subtle weathering were used to recreate the transitional landscape typical of the Normandy countryside.

Each vehicle was painted and weathered individually, then unified through dust effects and ground interaction to ensure cohesion across the scene.

The objective was to create a balanced narrative, a moment of preparation before movement rather than a battle snapshot.
